ESMA update
from 11th July ESMA published an update to the ESEF Reporting Manual giving more guidance to the reporting institutions.
ESEF FRTS was also missing some elements in annex 2 which was published in a corrigendum to the amendments to the FRTS.
Discussion on the naming convention recommendation; this is not mandatory nonetheless.
ECB update
No specific change at this point; ECB will amend the SFRDP taxonomy as soon as needed after EBA modifies the FINREP taxonomy.
EBA update
Taxonomy version 3.5 was published on 12 July 2024 with format DPM 1.0 and taxonomy architecture 1.0.
Also a version in format DPM 2.0 (without validation rules) and taxonomy architecture 2.0 (without assertions) was published for information: not to be used on reporting chain.
DPM 2.0 with validation rules and taxonomy with assertions will be published soon (Expected in September 2024).
EBA publishes filing rules v5.4 with modifications on the accuracy requirements and on the filing naming convention.
Meanwhile, EBA is working on release 4.0 for CRR3/CRD6 changes, MICAR etc. for the time being planned as first draft in October 2024.

SRB update
The SRF 2025 taxonomy has been published at the end of July.
DPM ISO standard
Eurofiling is supporting the further development of the DPM standard with a new call for participation within the ISO appropriate Technical Committee and following the standard balloting procedure.
Sustainability
EFRAG is tasked to deliver the ESRS specifications to the EC. More news will follow in due course.
