SRB update
The next taxonomy for resolution is published in the EBA 4.2 taxonomy package.
SRF-EAC: data collection has started.
ECB update
SFRDP 5.2 taxonomy was published on the ECB website 2 weeks ago. A small update will be made this week, by updating the references to XBRL International in the JSON file.
Henceforth the taxonomy will be published by EBA as part of their next taxonomy packages. The number for this release is to be decided by EBA and ECB.
EIOPA update
EIOPA is working on the processing of the comments received during the public consultation that ended in October.
The changes resulting from these comments will be incorporated in SII release 2.10. This release is expected to be applicable for reference data Q1 2027.
SII releases 2.8.2 is to be used until 2.10 becomes applicable.
EIOPA is also working on Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive (IRRD). The timeline is developing; reporting is not expected before 2028.
EBA update
The EBA 4.2 was published yesterday on the website.
If important issues are detected, then a hotfix will be published in the week of 5 January 2026.
Please note that new filing rules have been published as well: eba_filing_rules_v5.7_2025_11_24.pdf
In the course of 2026, a release 4.3 shall be developed that will be applicable as from 2027.
It may include updates on FINREP, Stress testing, DORA, etc. but more will be shared in the next Eurofiling calls.
For DORA, it’s imperative to reiterate that for the next reporting cycle, the 4.0 taxonomy shall be used (and not the 4.2 taxonomy which is included in full_taxonomy.7z).
XBRL International update
Main developments are in the OIM Working Group:
- Table Constraints specification (table-constraints-CR-2025-10-07), working towards the proposed recommendation as we elaborate the conformance suite in the next weeks.
- Open Information Taxonomy model, busy working on the requirements. Target is publication for comments before the end of the year.
A mini-Data Amplified will take place on Thursday 11 December, online.
The agenda and registration for the event are at Data Amplified Virtual 2025.
Events update
the next Digital Reporting in Europe (joint Eurofiling /XBRL EU) conference shall take place at Banque de France in Paris on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 May 2026.
